Intervals (sets of eight)
Intervals are the “do, ray, me,” an and so on.
1=do 2=ray 3=me …
Use the root + the third interval + the fifth interval = Major Chord
Ex: C major
c + e + g
root note + 1/2 step below 3rd + 5th
Ex: C minor
c + eb/d# + g
