Homemade Deodorant

deo

1/4 c baking soda* (for anti-stink and dry)
1/4 c corn starch (for smooth and dry)
5-6 Tbsp. coconut oil (for soft and anti-stink. also antimicrobial.)

Combine powders. Add oil as needed, stirring until powder ingredients absorb
into coconut oil.

Here is where is can get a little tricky: coconut oil is solid under 76 degrees,
so you’ll get significantly different results depending on the weather.
It can be made with only 3 Tbsp of liquid oil.

In the winter it’s solid, and on the hot days it’s a lotion.
Apply a pea-sized amount with finger.

I found this via a blogger friend of mine;

  1. Your not the first one Ive seen to offer up this recipe. I think one of them also used shea butter. I am very anxious to give it a try myself.

  2. Mr, Swab, you… are a dirty hippy.
