Adventure Time!
I recently started watching this show on Cartoon Network, and got hooked. I wish I would have seen it sooner but for some reason I was hesitant in taking the time to watch the show.
Now that I am a self-proclaimed fan of Adventure Time; I wanted to catch up on the seasons. To really get to know the characters of the show; mostly Finn (the human) and Jake (the dog). They go on adventures (who would have thought) to help others in need; and always slay evil. Oh, and they are best friends!
BUT!
Little to my knowledge there is no such DVD; well at least until July 10, 2012. Yes I could watch them online and I do have a link; but I live out of a hotel, and the Internet is slower than molasses (which can’t even hold an electrical charge).
So I am choosing to wait for the DVD to hit the stores; then it is marathon time!
Some people don’t understand why I choose to watch this “silly” cartoon, in what seems like, just out of the blue; so I put some thought into the questions.
I have found that what has been drawing me to this show, is how it relates to my childhood. No, I did not have a talking dog that could change size and shape on command; but I always imagined I was on a quest to help someone or save the princess.
I have even had make believe sword fights with friends (both visible and invisible) pretending I was fighting evil and restoring peace to land.
This show makes me remember the days of no bills, no worries, and no responsibility; plus, I like to see evil be slain.
