The Golden Kronickels

The Kings’, @BeAreWhyEx and @Mro2tha, new mix-tape is out as of today. This recording is the next step for the two young rappers from the Greensburg Pennsylvania area.

This fifteen tract mix has a little bit of everything; some songs with lots of bass, a few skits, and some laid back tracts.

They have really stepped up their game since the last mix-tape; Red Wine and Fruit Roll-ups by bryx, as well as New Objective by Mr. O2tha. Both appears on either mix-tape; however, this is the first official complete co-op mix-tape.

Some of my favorite tracks off this new mix-tape include Bringing 88 Back Again, Scrambled Eggs, Murder I Wrote, and 4 Letter Casualty.

Bringing 88 Back Again, track two, I enjoy due to the use of the drum set in the song; and of course both of them kill it on the rhymes.

Scrambled Eggs, track six, I loved it from the first time I saw they video before the mix-tape release; it is fun song and gets easily stuck in your head.

Murder I Wrote, track thirteen, is an awesome slow song (in comparison to most of the tracks), I always find myself wanted to sing along when it comes on my iPod Classic.

4 Letter Casualty, track fourteen, really caught my eye; they way they used the acoustic track behind the rap is fresh, not to mention the chorus reminds me of my emo days.

The mix-tape is a great compilation of music styles and really shows the potential of the two young rappers from Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Oh! If you are a fan of Chevy Woods check out Water & Vegetables; he is a guest on the track.

Download the mix-tape here.
